Why you will appreciate our office space, layout and environment.
Our office space is a bit limited by the configuration of the building, yet we see our office staff moving around and working with each other. Our kitchen and bath showroom is an enticing space for group gatherings and client interactions. While project details are being finalized, the Sunnyfields showroom is often buzzing with activity.

Our process for regular review and feedback for employees?
We work toward the development of each and every person on the team. Our formal performance evaluations take place annually and we encourage conversation about each person's future at the Company. We invest in training and mentoring and promote from within, particularly on operations side of the business. An example would be an Assistant Project Manager can be groomed to be a Site Superintendent, and ultimately a Project Manager if that is something of interest to the employee. These growth plans are discussed and a plan is put in place to work toward that goal.

How we handle employee recognition or appreciation programs
In addition to an annual cook out, a few after work events throughout the year, adopt-a-family involvement at the holiday season, and our weekly involvement with our three Baltimore based charities, we initiated two new programs. DACG Bucks. Throughout the year a hot pink oversized bill in $10, $20, $50 increments with the DACG logo on front is awarded. Teammates are awarded these DACG Bucks for their work anniversary, a client shout out, a team mate or trade partner shout out, being seen or heard doing something out of the ordinary, etc. At the year end party, there is a live auction where the DACG Bucks are used to purchase gifts. The gifts ranged from gift cards, dinners, movie tickets, flower delivery, necessary tools for our carpenters, etc. It was a lively auction, DACG Bucks were surrendered for many treasures. Everyone left with something. The Blueprint Bulletin. We began a monthly interoffice bulletin filled with photos from jobsites, DACG Buck winners, trivia questions, birthdays and anniversaries. Each edition starts with a quote about how we handle our business and it is the theme that runs throughout the bulletin. It is well received due to the fact that our employee base is on jobsites throughtout Maryland and in our Baltimore office. It is a unifying publication and creates some fun banter after the newsletter is emailed.

We specialize in the luxury custom marketplace,building ground up new homes, remodeling and renovating existing residential and commercial structures, (tenant fit-out included) and we operate Sunnyfields, a kitchen, bath and design solutions showroom. We belong to several trade organization where we are involved and supportive of those missions and events. They include but are not limited to: AIA Baltimore, Preservation Maryland, MBIA, NKBA, ABC, BCE and others.
